Your assignment

You will serve as team lead of the Inside Sales group, inspiring team members to provide excellent customer experiences and growth within our network of pro dealer, retail, and end-user partners. Partnering with leaders of our brands and markets, you will ensure focus and collaboration between teams and their outside sales counterparts to execute sales plans. Through a deep understanding of customer needs, you will lead your team daily by providing direction and training to improve their approach and sales success.

This is not an assignment for a first timer. We are seeking a seasoned leader who will challenge our sales leadership team, our sales team and our customers.

Essential duties:

  • Lead and develop the team to provide excellent service experiences to all internal and external customers.
  • Partner with Sales, Brand, and Marketing teams to create and execute strategies and revenue plans for initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Drive continuous improvement and accountability of/to the team’s knowledge, systems and approaches.
  • Leverage in-depth product-knowledge, selling skills and teaching/coaching abilities to continuously develop capability within the team.
  • Ensure positive and productive relationships and consistent interactions between their team and Outside Sales, as well as other internal departments.
  • Establish and leverage data/reporting to measure strengths and opportunities of the team to improve performance and achievement of sales goals.
  • Occasionally step into Customer Service and Inside Sales roles temporarily to support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a leader of an inside sales team.
  • Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
  • Align with our purpose, 8 character traits, and cornerstones.
  • In-depth experience with sales analytics, sales process methodology, and CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
