Your assignment
As a Supply Chain Buyer, you will be a critical member of our sourcing team by strategically purchasing product and implementing sourcing strategies to fulfill our growing product demands.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and day to day management of key product categories.
- Lead the effort to review supplier performance and make recommendations for sourcing strategies.
- Develop and maintain databases, tools, and systems to support analysis and decision-making processes.
- Maintain a consistent supply of product to meet current and future demands.
- Manage PO placement, review, warehouse rebalancing, repack orders, and track through facility delivery.
- Participate and lead cross functional projects and initiatives including but not limited to supply chain improvements, new product developments, and strategic sourcing reviews.
Requirements include:
- Align with our purpose, 8 character traits, and cornerstones.
- Supply Chain, Business Management, or Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years of supply chain / sourcing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in regard to proactive process and results improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Extraordinary attention to detail, while still working under deadlines.
- High level of passion, collaboration and dedication to your area of expertise.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and self-directing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
